Here's a guide that shows how to join an academy, create your own academy, academy buffs, etc. Everything you need to know about Silkroad's Academy System is in this guide. 1. Academy System
The Guardian System is a system for existing high level(Silk Road Gold) players to help beginners. Guardians can pass on their gaming experiences to the beginners so the beginners can get better insight to the game. Under the guardian system, beginners will be able to adapt themselves to the gaming environment more easily, and the guardian who has made the contribution will be honored, and awarded(Silk Road Gold).

2. Establishing an Academy
An academy can contain a maximum of 8 members. The person who established the academy becomes the 'guardian'.

3. Guardian – A 60+ level(Silk Road Gold) player who created the academy.
Guardian assistants – Players between 40-59 level.
Maximum - 2 players
Apprentices – Players between 1-39 level.
Maximum: 5 players
You can establish an academy by talking to the storage NPC located in each town.
Constantinople: Sikeulro.
Donwhang: Irina and Paedo.
Hotan: Auisan.
Jangan: Sansan and Wangu.
Samarkand: Saesa.
Requirements and restrictions:
level 60 or higher in order to establish an academy.
100,000 gold is required to establish an academy.
Guardian cannot establish more than 1 academy.
maximum of 5 apprentices.
maximum of 2 guardian assistants.
Disbandment.

Only the guardian can disband the academy and disbandment is possible after 7 days of establishment. Every member of the academy will be seceded automatically when the academy is disbanded. There is no secede penalty for apprentices. Cumulated Buff, Accumulated Buff, Academy Chat Window and Honor Rank will disappear. You can not reestablish an academy for 7 days after the disbanding and honor rank and points will be renewed.
